Relax with the whole family (bring the dog!) at this peaceful riverside sanctuary. This cabin is nestled on 3 acres with fruit trees, blueberry bushes, and a pond with a dining area and gazebo. Spend your time on a spacious patio directly overlooking the river and forest. This get away is perfect for the nature lover. Full of natural light and large windows, our cabin is equipped with a full kitchen that has everything you need. It is a half mile from the road, so enjoy the quiet countryside!
The space
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, this cozy cabin sits alongside a beautiful creek. Sit on the back deck and listen to the water flow beneath you. Cool off in the swimming hole, bring your fishing gear and throw a line in the 3 acre fishing pond up over the hill. Picnic in the gazebo in the small pond.
Take advantage of our fully equipped kitchen, preparing gourmet meals to eat in, or enjoy one of the many excellent restaurants in the area.
The cabin has wide open main spaces and a bedroom off each side of the living room for maximum privacy. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with a shower and soaking tub. The second bedroom has a whirlpool tub.
The cabin is conveniently located halfway between Greenville and Spartanburg South Carolina. It is an hour from Asheville, and about 45 minutes from the Biltmore mansion. It is 20 minutes from the Tryon international equestrian Center.
It is a short drive to several different state parks, the Heritage preserve, and other places to hike and take in the scenery. This cabin is an outdoor lovers dream!
We are an hour from Clemson, a half hour from Converse College, 10 minutes to North Greenville University, 20 minutes to Furman.
Guest access
You and your group will have access to the full cabin, as well as the adjacent pond and gazebo, the large yard, the river, and the larger pond for fishing if you bring your gear.
Other things to note
You have the entire 3 acres to enjoy. Our home is a short walk through the woods, and we have 4 wheel trails throughout. So if you hear 4-wheelers heading to the venue or the second pond, give us a wave...we love to see our guests enjoying the space!
When you come off Glassy Mountain Road, you will be driving along the Willow Creek wedding venue. It is no longer in operation, but there are tenants on that property. Please don't wander through the venue spaces.
