Enjoy a spectacular get-away on the Withlacoochee River. This house is situated right on the riverbank and it offers a stunning deck beneath an old southern oak draped in Spanish moss - you'll find the deck to be the perfect place for relaxing at the end of the day.
The Withlacoochee (Native American for crooked river) flows peacefully by, about 40 feet from the living room window, and directly below the backyard deck. On this scenic waterway, you're close to nature - explore by canoe, kayak or boat. Venture downriver, and you may see osprey, roseate spoonbills, wood storks, egrets, herons, otters, alligators, manatees or dolphins.
You’ll love overlooking the river, the quiet location, and the awesome deck and dock. You will have two tropically-styled bedrooms at opposite ends of a great room. The master bedroom is large, featuring a comfy king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is average in size and has a nice, comfy, queen-sized bed. This bedroom has en-suite access to a bathroom that is also accessible from the living room. The kitchen is open to the great room, and is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc. You'll enjoy dining in, if you like to cook. The great room has a large stone fireplace. The Florida room has a wall of windows overlooking the river.

(Three Sisters and Rainbow Springs are less than 30 minutes.) In summer, enjoy scalloping in the shallow waters of the Gulf, between Crystal River and Homosassa. If you have your own boat, you can launch it in Yankeetown at the public boat ramp, just ten minutes from the house. From there, you'll find yourself to be a few miles from the Gulf, with easy power-boating access to Crystal River and Cedar Key.
