The cabin is in a rural area in the woods, and as such there are numerous wild animals that live in the area. Please don't leave food or garbage outside to deter weasels, coyotes, foxes, or bears (mostly black bears, we haven't seen grizzlies in the local area for a number of years). Don't approach moose as they are more dangerous than their adorable appearance makes them appear. Finally, we do our very best with mouse mitigation inside the house, but occasionally one will evade our efforts, so if that happens please let us know and we will place additional traps. We use mouse poison in the winter when there are no guests with small children or pets who could be harmed but its use.
