Summary: When we arrived and I got out of my vehicle I slipped and fell on the ice, impacting my right knee and twisting my back. When I explained what happened to the clerk at the check in, she tried to get the attention of security with no answer from them. When we went to our room the thermostat was set to 60, so the room was very cold. Once we determined the radiant heater was working the room did not warm up until around 2 am when we reduced the temperature to 70. Next, because we were so cold and the fall out front of the location, I got in the shower only to find that the handicapped grab bar had some kind of scum on it, the appearance of dried lotion or soap. When I grabbed a washcloth it looked like dried poop on it, ON BOTH SIDES! When we checked out the next morning I spoke with the morning manager about all this and he said he would comp us in some way. It’s been 2 days and there has been nothing from this location. We have stayed here before, this will probably be the last time.
