Summary: We visited the area to take Fall color photos. I ran across this beautiful lodge and booked a room. The room was very big! The view was lovely. The beds were comfy and the bed linens were snowy white and very easy on my sensitive skin. I was surprised that the pool was open all night (adults only during those hours!) And there was a fire pit going all night too! It was a weeknight and I hoped they might bring our biscuits and gravy,but sadly, no. I read that sometimes they do bring in some hot breakfast items. They did have waffles you could make though and my husband did that. Their granola was delish! I spied the boiled eggs and that was the only negative… Ibit into it and chewed and found they had missed some shell. Yuck! That threw off my appetite. But, it was the only negative of the trip. Next time, I will inspect more closely! The big gathering room was inviting!! A lovely fire was going, the weather was rainy and foggy much of the time. We will definitely want to stay there again!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Here are a few photos of the grounds. We stayed in late October 2025. There were lots of things in the lodge for anyone who likes to play games and such, but we are retired people. We didn’t check those out but they sounded like fun things to explore. kayaks were available for our use too.
